Last Run

This lovely blue train retires on Saturday, March the 18th. Whilst it's sad to see it retire, it's a good opportunity to experience a "last run".

It runs on a short branch line between Hyogo station and Wadamisaki station in Kobe.

Here's a close up of the plate at one end of the train.

However, as you can see from the timetable, you'll only be able to see it in the morning and then late in the afternoon onwards.

If you are in the Kobe area next Saturday, it'd definitely be worth seeing this train on its last day as it travels off into the sunset....
